Joshua Clottey is a physically dangerous fighter. Just because Pacquiao made him into a punching bag doesn't mean he won't give everyone else hell because he has.

Cotto was arguably the best at 147 before Margarito beat him. Now he is a b class fighter but before hand he was one of the best.

Of all the things you can complain about, you complain about Cotto's opposition? He has faced better opponents then most current fighters.

Josh Clottey was paid to not hit Pacquaio

outside of that step aside money without stepping aside, he fought like a genuine world class fighter against Cotto, who fought handicapped from Clottey's lethal third fist (head).

Clottey got paid handsomely just like Margarito is being paid handsomely to just show up and let the Pac train moving

His best win is a close decision many thought he lost. He joins a list of Margarito recent KO victims that include Kermit Cintron and Golden Johnson.

Before the split decision against Mosley his best win was.........wait for it..............

              Zab Judah

              Cotto is just plain overrated.

Say what you want about Antonio Margarito, but he took his beating like a man.Had the ref not stepped in,Margarito would have gotten back to his feet, smile on his face, and remained there until his body could no longer withstand the ordeal.

The amount of credit Cotto received from the Clottey fight was pretty pathetic, too.Only in this era could a fighter be credited for lasting the distance with a cut.Not a broken jaw,not a broken hand - A cut, just above the eye.As far as I recall,he did a hell of a lot of running in that fight, looking to survive and hope for a decision, based on his early work, rather than looking to claim a decisive one.

I don't like Cotto, but I don't hate him, either.I don't regard him as a coward, nor a warrior.I think he deserves credit for consistently fighting world class opposition,in an era in which most so called "elite" opposition are too busy at the negotiating table. But at the same time,I'm not going to regard him as something he's clearly not.

And I also don't think those in attendance at his fight with Manny Pacquiao, who booed him mercilessly for running away and trying to survive, would disagree, either, - Atleast if they were honest.
You've obviously never boxed and don't know what kind of heart it takes to survive some of the fire Cotto has taken and to keep going to win and then in his losses keep going, whether running or taking knees.. still continuing and taking punishment.

Further evidene you've never stepped into a ring and fought is that you don't realize how hard it is to continue boxing with a cut that has basically blinded you for 8 rounds.
