The only reason I say 3-4 rounds is the conditioning factor, he's definitely a big puncher, but I don't think PBF will stand in front of him like he did with Mosley.

According to todays article, he had the surgery done last month - but rumors circulating that it may keep him from fighting in Dec. I posted in that thread that I think it may be him keeping his options open for a possible fight with FMJ, because he had started talks of a JCC jr fight AFTER his surgery and there was no mention of it being a problem at the time. Now, it MIGHT be a problem? Hmm.

Ah, well that is good then... that would mean late July... which would be a fully 5 months until december... but realistically only about 3 1/2 months until a training camp... so it's a little iffy.

It also depends on the severity of the surgery as well...

I would agree except floyd did that against Mosley when we all thought he wouldn't. Obviously, Angulo is a whole different fight.

Berto is an undefeated welterweight champ in his prime. His speed might give Floyd some trouble and he has decent power. I think he would be the best option for Floyd if he wants to fight at 147.

Berto is slower than Floyd.
In everyway he is below Floyd, but his main issue is thye shtitest footwork.
