Arum didn't call floyd's bluff, he set up a time clock on his own website. he never showed you or any of us what was in the "contract" he sent to floyd nor did he specfically say what "terms" manny agreed to. By responding, it makes this stunt look credible. Why don't I think it was credible: ACCORDING TO MARG, A FIGHTER PROMOTED BY THE SAME PROMOTER AS MANNY, HE WAS ALREADY PROMISED A NOVEMBER FIGHT WITH PAC IN FEBRUARY 2010.

Margarito: “Arum assured me a fight with Manny Pacquiao in November”

According to Dan Antuna of Tijuana newspaper Frontera, Antonio Margarito confirmed his next bout for May 8th in Aguascalientes, MX. After his bid to fight on the March 13th fight card in Dallas, TX, was not solidfied, the “Tijuana Tornado” will still face Carson Jones at the yearly state fair held in that Mexican city.

“The fight in May is confirmed directly from Bob Arum of Top Rank. He also assured me a fight with Manny Pacquiao in November,” Margarito stated.

He also mentioned that he would not be appearing at a hearing to solicit his license from the California State Atlethic Commission.

“Arum recommended me not to go, he said that I complied with teh sanction and they should give me the lincense without attending and audience,” he explained.

Margarito has been training at the Azteca Gym and the Mojac Gym, both in Tijuana.

Good example. They filed a suit against floyd an team may but not espn.atlas or nydaily news/timsmith that made the same accusations. See, when suing for defamation of charachter I'm thinking you sue the media outlets that reach millions of people befor eyou do floyd sr.

And the suit was for $75k. I mean do you think its plausible that an athlete that makes more than $8 mil per fight and has millions in the bank at home suse other millionaires for $75 k?

my stance in the marg-pac fight is that it is bull****. there are better fights that can be made, and neither deserve a belt. i have been saying this all through out this thread, so i don't know what "i can't handle"

Arum uses the same tricks every time. Pacquiao fans are just dumb enough to keep falling for them. Remember when Clottey mysteriously pulled out of the Quintana bout? Who would know he'd be lined up for a fight against Manny a month later? When Manny beats Margarito, we can expect him to begin "negotiations" with Mayweather and then be "forced" to fight Cotto or Chavez Jr or something.
