1) Forman / Moorer
2) Chavez / Taylor
3) Gatti / forgot who he was fighting he was a mess barely standing on his feet and than BOOM! One punch, Gatti wins by KO
4) Castillo/Corrales
5) De la Hoya / Vargas
Would also say Ali / Forman, but Ali was not loosing the fight
and before people start bull****tin', it's TAYLOR'S fault for not answering the ref. It dont matter if there's 10,9,8, or 2 seconds left. It's TAYLORS fault.
Chavez/Taylor was ******ed, no way in hell you stop a fight, when its basicly over all ready.
OK the criteria is that they must have been CLEARLY losing before they dropped the big equalizer and won the fight...
Whats the best KO from a fighter who was getting schooled??? Stoppages count also....
The two that come to mind for me are Meldrick Taylor Vs Chavez obviously and definitely Herol Graham Vs Julian Jackson.... Jackson was getting battered and was about to get pulled out by his corner when he knocked Graham out cold with one punch....
I would have to say the old Man Foreman , Knocking out the young Undefeated michael Moorer.
I really liked the McCline-Boswell KO where McCline clearly didn't show up to fight, was down on all the cards and laid Boswell out in the last round. I got emotional over that one because McCline is a good guy and it was really inspirational to see him trying so hard to save his career. Too bad he couldn't in the end.
Guys, You cant take anything away from chavez, he was wearing Taylor down in the last two rounds; and besides, it is not the referees job to worry about time left. thats why they have the ten second clacker, and timekeepers. It was an unbelievable circumstance, but the ref did his job..
I can never forget the Weaver KO of Tate for the WBA world Heavyweight title. Tate was very highly regarded and quite a few thought he could beat Holmes at the time. It was 2.15 into the 15th round and Tate was ahead by these scores
