        114-114 a draw,
but its the way you look at it,
el chino pressured and put on good combinations, Andriy landed the cleaner and more effective shots.

but it could have gone either way...
Ialso have to say 115-113 for Maidana is OK cuz he really troubled Kotelnik with his powershots at the end. he pizzafaced him. lmo

at least it was SD in Kotelniks favor. not really a robbery as some claim. more a hometown D.

Yeah it was a real good fight and it was hard for me to pick a winner, but the way Maidana finished the last round and busted up Kotelnik swung it for me.

Kotelnik is a crafty underrated son of a ***** though. I would make him at least even money against anyone at 140.

Can't make a thread without talking **** though.

When you watch Kotelnik/Maidana and Kotelnik/Alexander you see how much more dynamic and developed Maidana is than Alexander.

I don't just mean offensively either. Maidana slips punches better, has better footwork and a better chin of course.

Offensively Maidana is far more creative with his punch selection, lead uppers, body work, looping punches and straight punches mixed for maximum effectiveness to combat Kotelnik's draconian guard.

That Kotelnik is a punch blocking motherfucker with legendary high guard reminiscent of AA.

Kotelnik is tough as nails, best chin in the divison, never was down in amateurs and never in his pro career.

even money is very difficult, odds maker dont favor Kotelnik cuz of his style and age, in generel his status as a fighter. he is beatable in most cases, in most American fights. the yankees and judges dont like his style and he would lose to every American star, cuz he aint a puncher or throw many punches.

bood a very good boxer, a former wolrd champ

115-113 Maidana but a draw would have been acceptable as well.

Thats just cuz' Americans don't know shit about boxing.

If they did Kotelnik wouldn't have been robbed in the broad daylight of St. Louis.

It's funny how a lot of people reference the Kotelnik as Maidana being easily outboxed when it was a close fight. A SD is never boxing clinic.
