Why dont Boxers ever settle fight purses by who wins?

    It is a great idea, no more posturing and arguing "I brought this many PPV"s against this fighter" and the opponent says "Yes, but brought that many PPV"s against another fighter. If you want to biggest peice of the pie, shut your mouth, get in the ring, and take it from the other man. I believe that is how Bhop and Jones did it in there fight.

      why would manny give margarito or clotty 40% with a chance of giving him 60%. makes no sense.

        Obviously it wouldn't apply to Margarito or Clottey,but with Floyd Pacman it definately applies!!
