I dont care if its 2 guys making thier pro debuts, if they put on a good fight, its a good fight
What are you talking about man? I'm a damn Euro like you.

I wanna see the fight, but I'm not gonna pay to see this. These guys are both prospects. Let them sort this thing out on Boxing after dark.

Then maybe we can talk about "building" fights up.

Lopez facing Marquez in the biggest money fight at 126 for money and popularity.

Next up will be Gamboa facing Rojas (WBC) and Lopez facing Chris John (WBA "Super") in early 2011.

If everything goes according to plan, they will fight for the Undisputed Championship without having to face Caballero and move up to 130. Except for Lopez-John they're all good matchups though.
you dont think lopez-john is a good match up??

Both guys are at the top of thier division, both champs, both are very exciting, both have a 0, they will unify the title and will decide the top guy at FW with a fight.

Boxing After Dark? Both have fought and headlined PPVs.

Totally agree with that! Exciting fighters are what they are, if you want big names that don't accomplish jack, follow the Pac Mayweather soap opera.

When these 2 finally get in the ring, it will be one of the most exciting boxing matches of the year, that alone is worth the PPV money. Besides, they're the champions ffs.

This is the plan and very smart IMO.

People forget that Arum put together the first mega-fight (ppv) in the lowerweight classes with Michael Carbajal and Humberto Gonzales. With bouts like Morales vs Barrera trilogy etc... I think Arum and Trampler know a thing or to about making a big fight in the lower weight class and I agree with your post 100%.

Same thing with Bradley/Alexander. These guys are barely out of diapers and think they deserve PPV billing or something.

                  smh...
It's not a blockbuster yet I agree with you on that. This fight is being built up and if Lopez gets by Marquez, John and Gamboa gets by Salido, Rojas and Cabellero....this fight will be huge.

John is garbage at the moment due to the weight, he needs to move up, at 126 Lopez will demolish him.

John is a good fight for anyone at 126, He would be a great test for Lopez even a better test than Caba would be at FW. Having said that i wouldnt mind Gamboa-Lopez for those 3 belts.

I wanted to see Caballero-Lopez at 122 for all the belts but they didnt want the fight for whatever reason, Now we move on Caba needs to make himself seen/relevant at 126 and keep the chase on.
