Steward, Roach, Nacho and Floyd Sr are my favorites. Everytime they get a fighter and actually connect with them, you notice huge improvements. Steward is the type of guy that can improve your flaws, Roach gives you techniques that you lack, Nacho can change tricycle drivers into Hall of Famers and Floyd Sr gives fighters a boxer's mentality/ring smarts.
Who is boxing's best trainer?

Isn't Emanuel Steward American? Nevermind, I see his name up there now. You have it listed as Manny Steward.Comment

Roach....he has Pac, Khan, Vanes, Chavez Jr and plenty of other top notch boxers in his stable. They come to him for training because the think he is the best...if anyone knows who a quality trainer is it would be a pro boxer right? I'd just see which trainer keeps getting quality prospects and that's your guy.
Other than Roach, I like Steward..he has done wonders with Wlad and I was very impressed with Cotto's footwork in the Foreman fight.
Some of the others are very good too but Roach and Steward are the best IMOComment

Well, as indicated in the poll, it certainly isn't Teddy:
Some months later on HBO, Teddy was in Michael Grant's corner against Jameel McCline. On the very first punch of the fight, Grant went down, and he could not continue for long afterward because he'd injured his ankle in the fall. HBO commentator George Foreman said "Grant's trainer didn't warm him up, there's not a drop of sweat on him, he came in cold" Jim Lampley said "isn't Teddy Atlas supposed to be a good trainer?" and Foreman replied something like "I don't care who he is, you don't send a fighter into the ring without warming him up, or your taking a risk of him being injured".Comment
