This was a shameful refereeing performance. It was bias. The fact is different ref completely different fight. The best refs you dont notice, but everybody noticed what cortez was doing - preventing ricky from getting inside where he fights best.
ROLF @ Cortez raping Hatton

Cortez was a joke in that fight. Compare it with this completely contradictory performance in Hopkins vs Calzaghe and it just gets worseComment

LOL @ acting like there's anything short of a miracle that would have helped Hatton beat Mayweather.
Hatton threw a punch, and immediately went in to clinch, and wrap his arm around the back of Floyd's head. LOL @ acting like that kind of shit shouldn't be broken up.Comment

Its Hatton style thats the problem, see right there he lands a good shots, but because he gets too close the opponent all the while, which is a direct result of him making sure they cant hit him, its essentially his defense, only when he is that close he cant get off himself, so he starts using illegal shots, like holding and hitting so he can engineer the space he needs to! get off.Comment

TS so where was the "Flush" punch that Hatton landed at 5:12? Am glad they have got rid of the Hatton bandwagon/fanatics, He had one of the most deluded fanatic around, Hatton's highlight reels are clinching,Holding, hugging and the odd bodypunching but as soon as the competition was stepped up we didnt even see one bodypunch.Comment

What are you talking about? He had Floyd in a head lock when the ref jumped in. Cortez might have jumped in early throughout the fight but this is boxing not MMA or wrestling. If Hatton can't win without smothering and holding, he's not a real fighter. Boxing is about using your hands only, smothering is against the rules, that's why the ref jumped in and that's why no rematch ever took place. Hatton could never beat Floyd at boxing fairly.Comment
