I'm getting more and more sickened by the internet combat sports forum scene. You have all these douche bags who don't know s.hit about combat sports criticizing fighters at every turn. It's sickening.
I have an idea, let the fighters fight. Hell, that's what their paid for, right?
Adamek has now defeated three heavyweights, including 2 giants in has past 2 fights. He's a 2 division champ, and has 1 loss in about 40 fights. All the naysayers should literally go take their head and stick it up their own ass. He's a fighter. Fighters fight.
If he fights his way to title contention, which he arguably already has done, he deserves his fair shot. He wouldn't be the first 217 pound heavyweight to make an impact in the modern era, and he surely wouldn't be the last. For all the advantages of being 250, there are advantages as well to being a smaller guy who can move and who can fight hard for all of 12 rounds.
In closing, all the morons who hate on fighters should really learn a thing or two about humility. None of these guys have or ever will step into a ring, let alone engage in a sparring session, or even engage in training of any sort. They are just armchair quarterbacks who don't know their ass from their hand when it comes to combat sports.
Boxing is a very difficult sport. For Adamek to defeat Arreola through superior boxing, and then to stand in front of Grant and counter punch, both of these things were very impressive. To the people who want to nitpick the fact that Adamek was hit by solid punches here and there, and that he may have been stunned in rounds 6 and 12, if this is all you care about, I suggest you think twice before calling yourself a boxing fan.

Mayweather-Pacquiao was set for March 13 too.
