Dibella is 100% right. I think he should tell the same thing to his boys Berto and Caballero.

The kid has 20 fights, no one is expecting him to win. Why do you think HBO offered to give him another date if he lost.

Think about this, $750,000 plus maybe another $200,000 for his next HBO fight if he loses. That's close to $1,000,000. How long and how many fight would it take him to make that kind of cash at his current pace? Remember by turning down Martinez, Angulo will be frozen out of HBO dates till next year.

I'm going to list the pros of taking a fight with Martinez, you go ahead and list the cons.

            - Middleweight title at a catchweight
            - Big fight experience
            - Career high payday
            - Keeps his ranking at 154 if he loses
            - A win equals huge paydays to follow
            - A close fight could set up a big money rematch
            - Guaranteed HBO date win or lose
            - He doesn't get frozen out of HBO dates till next year

well since he turned down Martinez, let Erislandy Lara get a shot at Angulo since he is turning down the "BIG FIGHTS", I like Angulo but I think Lara would be a match up NIGHTMARE for Angulo even with just 13 Pro Fights under his belt

He must think he's an idol like Chavez. What the hell was he thinking? This is one of the worst career moves ever.

The dude was guaranteed an HBO slot in early 2010 even if he lost. That's preferential treatment right there. He looks like a candy ass for not accepting the challenge now. More so than if he would've taken an ass whipping and another L.
