I don't understand why HBO doesn't just lay down the law. They literally control American boxing with their money. Yet they give GB promotions an exclusive contract for dates which stifles competition which makes the end product weaker. To top it off HBO unnecceasrily overpays boxers who don't sell tickets and only fight bums. If you don't sell tickets the only way you should be getting 500,000 dollars is if your opponent is not a bum. Berto and Bradley have been fighting nobodies and yet they still get the big bucks? Come on HBO. Those guys fight in their hometowns in front of half empty arenas. Showtime's budget doesn't come close to HBO's but they got it right with "Great Fights No Rights".

GBP wants to keep cons chin away from Ortiz and Maidana.Bradley and Devon are too dangerous to put con in with cause they are great boxers.So that leaves Marquez,who a great fighter but look bad above 135lb.I hope Marquez turns down the fight and con has to fight a real Jr WW.But even then Con will find away to duck the top guys at 140lb..
