Why do people still continue to support Mayweather?

I can understand why someone like Pacquiao or Cotto has such strong support. These guys have taken the risks and not made a career out of treating the fans and the sport like dirt.but still mayweather fans continue to support him even when he's so clearly in the wrong.Vacations, continually ducking the best in his own division, ducking a "one dimensional" fighter for the richest prize fight ever.God knows how theyd regard him if this puss actually took risks. He'd be the greatest athlete ever in their eyes if he did actually have a pair of balls.PAc nor Cotto have not rematched men who knocked them out. That is ***** to me lol...to be ko'd and then forget about the guy who ko'd you lol...

I appear on this board to support him more than I actually do. Mainly because so many Pacquiao fans get butthurt over it, and it makes me laugh.
A lot of people mistake a person respecting Floyd's skills, as being a "*****".
I've had guys on local sports talk radio shows screaming, fighting mad simply because I don't think there's a snowball's chance in hell of Pacquiao beating Mayweather.Comment

thought of this when i saw your post. courtesy of big dunn
Wasn't he retired from 07-09? That would change the average. Also check your math. For example:
January 1, 1996- December 31, 1998 is 3 years. 18 fights in 3 years is an average of 6 per year. While I'm at it:
From 2006-2010: 6 Fights in 3 Years ( with the 21 mos "retiredment period factored in[AVERAGE: 2 fights per 12 mos]
From 2002-2006: 10 fights in 5 Years [AVERAGE: 2 fights per 12 mos]]
From 1998-2002: 17 Fights in 5 Years [AVERAGE: 3.4 fights per 12 mos]]
From 1996-1998: 18 Fights in 3 Years [AVERAGE: 6.0 fights per 12 mos]Last edited by Pacquiao'd; 08-20-2010, 03:13 PM.Comment

you say manny has problems with pure boxers like floyd
but
you forget floyd has big problems with southpaws, and this time he is fighting THE southpaw. And hes in his prime. Floyd will know he was in a fight.
I got manny winning this i dont care what nobody says. Floyd isnt INDESTRUCTABLE like many seem to beleive. He was getting beat up for a while in hatton and judah fights.
and he ran like a chicken against a washed up DLH. Manny will own himComment
