I'm happy that more black fighters are behaving like business men instead of ''warriors''.
At the end of the day, pawns die on the battlefields, Kings live in a palace. Boxing for the athlete involved is a business, they should value their future over putting on a show for spectators.Comment

Ward? Are you kidding me? Thats not a tough hard fighter at all!! Hes more like these "i dont wanna get hit at all" soft punching boxers who make boring fights. The south-americans definately have the toughest and roughest fighters these days. The black people in the US seem to soft up a bit.Last edited by Tobi.G; 08-20-2010, 12:01 PM.Comment

Coming from a community that says their gender is worthless and the revelation of great black fighters being punchy have taken the heart away from black fighters of this era.
The last true decade for black fighters, when they were blood and guts warriors, was the late 70's and 80's, with residues of this greatness popping up throughout the 90's.
The last great year for Black fighters was 2000, and from there on out, this younger generation has crept in, and it has gone down hill ever since.
Back in the day, Mexican fighters were considered tough, but black fighters were considered GREAT. Not anymore.

Dougie is not "on point". He's ignorant. Different fighters have different styles and it has nothing to do with race. How can you in one sentence say there are no African American "warriors" and then mention Paul Williams and James Kirkland? That whole "warrior" **** is ******. Anybody that gets in that ring is taking a risk and some four eyed, buck toothed, ***ot like Dougie Fischer is in no position to say who is a warrior and who isn't. He's also full of contradictions. In one sentence he says there have been no black fighters involved in "fight of the year" fights since Bowe-Holyfield and then names several of them. *** Dougie Fisher. And no fighter "likes" to get hit. That's a ****** concept.Last edited by Calilloyd; 08-20-2010, 12:28 PM.Comment
