This is very true. He needs a left jab throw at him to do it.

However, his lead right is still his best weapon, not to mention he has a good quick left hook.
That is the thing I would do the same with him if I am a southpaw.wait on the left hook and then go in with my right cross.

Not really man. Marquez was taking Floyd's shots. Mayweather doesn't really need to hurt you badly to win a UD. He basically has to do what he always does and just outland Pacquiao by staying accurate and cutting Pac's workrate.

Manny's not a counterpuncher though. He won't be waiting for Mayweather to throw that. Mayweather will be waiting on him.

What Mayweather really needs to worry about is Pacquiao's angles. It's hard to counter what he doesn't see coming.

Or maybe its different watching him always do that to someones jab then actually being in the ring and trying to counter that some how.
Its not that fighters/trainers don't watch tapes, its just that Floyd can counter in a number of ways.. his go to move is the pull counter.

He most recently countered Marquez and Mosley with an array of punches.

The bolded. When you throw a jab at someone you don't expect them to have such a good grasp on your range and the reflexes necessary to pull back then fire an immediate counter.

When they start planning to avoid his counters is when their work rate diminishes, you can take a good look at Shane Mosley.

I dont think ppl know how good Floyd really is, wat makes Floyd sooo good is not only his def but his ring IQ and how he can adapt n make adjustments thurout the fight. Ppl talkn bout Manny throws at angles but Floyd will counter Manny an out box him, yea he'll take shots but Floyd will out point Manny easy, JMM showed the blueprint to beat Manny.

Southpaws don't throw right crosses. They throw left hands.
