what i would do is feint the left jab and dip under his counter, then nail him with a uppercut
i would also jab to his body first then when he brings his hands down to block nail him with a hook uppercut
he reason floyd does this is because he doesnt like to **** cuz his hands are soft, which is also the reason why he has to inject xylocaine before every fight
good luck with jabbing at his body. By the time you do that you would have already gotten smacked by a jab and a right hand
it wouldnt work against Manny. once Manny land his left jab you know whats next right? the combination will follow. FLoyd would be backing up and run from him. specially if Manny can take Floyd punches? its all over for him. he can counter all he wants as long as Manny's left jab and right hook will land.
you do know he has countered combinations before right--round 2 of his fight with gatti--he countered gatti's 1,2 combo wih a left hook--and round 5 with de la hoya---just to name 2-lol--manny will be no different--

With Manny as a Southpaw, it is entirely different. He can pull-counter off Manny's LEFT CROSS though but since Manny doesn't exclusively used it as a lead punch (though he has plenty of times).
Manny's Right hoooks, lead right hooks/check hooks can "nullify" Mayweather's pull-counter and set him off balanced. Then again, Mayweather's lead right cross can do the same for Pacquiao.
It is entirely a different strategy but angles are much, much harder to counter against a southpaw.
ask judah--floyd will counter manny with a left jab over manny's left jab---true story--and buckle him and possible drop him with it--
