          yeah he was living in canada mate at the time with his mum so thats why he fought for canada in the olympics, i get the feeling he retuirned not due to his love for england though but because of more opportunities, money and exposure to become the first british heavyweight champ since Fitzsimmons.

          so in some ways yeah guess you are right but as a Brit i'd say beggers cant be choosers

                haha I guess how that's we feel too, considering that the next most-famous modern boxer that lived in Canada is Kirk Johnson we need to claim at least a piece of Lennox in order to feel a bit of pride .

                I think that marketing had something to do with Lennox's decision though I'm not denying that he doesn't have some attachment to the place he was born either, it's just the accent thing that bugs me.
