Who is the greatest British boxer of all time???

Who do you think is the greatest British Boxer of all time. I know Bruno, Eubank, Benn & Hamed were pretty big stars, even Americans knew how big Bruno was in Britain. Is it one of these 4 guys or is it someone else??

You mean there have actually been "Great British Champs"?!

You can't count Lennox, after all he claims Jamaica as his homeland, and it seems like he represented Canada in the Olympics didn't he?

done be an arsehole mate, just cos you are an MC doesnt mean you can get away with deliberate ignorance and you should know better. suitably chastised

Lennox was born in east ham mate, more of a ****ney than the queen, his parents are Jamaican and his mother emigrated to Canada when Lennox was aged 11 as his father pissed off and he was goetitng in trouble at school.

so he has a claim to England being his nationailty as he was born here that is not debatable.

owan moran and jim driscoll are also worth a mention and as evil saint points out Bob fitz was pretty special to win belts at 3 different weight was something extraordinary.

He did do a lot of his training in Canada, though. I'm not denying his British-ness but the funny thing is that whenever he's here that accent of his seems to disappear, yet when he's back in Britain he tosses in as many British-isms as he can into his speech. Can you say poser?
