Well it can be put that way or also a duck of the biggest threat.

Vacation/retirement actually allows him to fight who he wants.

    Hatton nstead Cotto/Marg

JMM instead of Cotto/Marg after the win/loss

Don't get me wrong, he's a very good fighter, and could beat them both, but forget fantasy fights, it's all about the real fight that we want to see.

Cotto/Marg would be more competitive at 147 than either Hatton and JMM.

Pac also has it in him to give a much better fight than Mosely.

He may be,but this could be his downfall if he ever fights a live opponent!!Imagine an inactive Floyd fighting against a Pacman who's staying busy beating on chumps like Margarito!!Pacman is already hard to time & anticipate, bad medicine for the pretty man taking too much time off!!

Gorilla or Dibushbaby. Lets pretend its January 2010. What 3 or 4 fights could floyd reasonably take this year? Or go back to January 2009. Between then and 12/31/10 What 6-8 fights is it reasonable for floyd to fight?

Ok. Is there enough money for HBO to put on these fights? If so, would there be money in the budget to put on any other? You know that from the door you are talking $80-$85 mil just for floyd's guarantee. How much is Greenburg's boxing budget for the year?

Look just lets discuss the point. Chicken and ducking has nothing to do with this.

Does HBO have a big enough budget to put on these 3 fights in a calendar year?

HBO Sports has a budget just like any other business. They would need to commit well over $100 mil alone for 3 floyd fights this year when factoring in production costs, travel, salaries, etc etc. Its just not economically viable.
