Same in vice versa. If Toney wins which I think he should then boxing fans will continue to bash MMA when Toney would have beaten some shot old dude who hasn't beaten a young prime fighter clearly in 3 years. Toney should win this fight. But boxing fans shouldn't brag about it.

geez enough of these type of threads. Ive said this a million times...

JAMES TONEY AT THIS POINT IN HIS CAREER IS NO MORE THAN A CLUBFIGHTER EVEN IN BOXING.
HE LOST TO FRES OQUENDO AND STRUGGLED AGAINST A BUM.
HE IS A FAT, SHOT, FOURTY SOMETHING YEAR OLD MIDDLEWEIGHT WHO HAS BEEN GOING BADLY DOWNHILL FOR FOUR OR FIVE YEARS NOW.

This is what the UFC is great at, taking past it mediocre fighters and turning them into 'big' fights.
Toney couldnt even get ESPN fights anymore in boxing, and yet with a little BS hype is the co-main event in UFC. great job biting the bait for a ****ty fight.

He's an old shot fat fighter way past his prime going into a sport he has no business being in simply because of money and not being able to land any significant fights in boxing. These aren't excuses these are facts.

Hey what does say about MMA, if Toney can go in a place that isn't his home and knock out another shot fighter.

They're both shot to ****. That shouldn't be used an excuse, but Couture knows the cage and Toney doesn't. That's still an advantage.

Couture is old as **** too but I wouldn't say he's shot or as shot as toney. He's like a bernard hopkins, old as fuuck but still capable of winning some fights.

I am a fan of both sports, but im rooting for Toney. Reason being, mma die hard fan boys piss me off more than boxing die hard fans, even though boxing die hard fans are completely ignorant to what mma is all about.

They are both past their primes.
they are both former champions in their respective sports.

it is not boxing vs. mma.

and this fight wont prove ****.

I call Toney via KO in R1.
