And I agree JMM deserves a 3rd Pac fight.
Couple of reason why you are wrong. First off, no amount of plaster or illegal pads in the gloves can give you enough confidence to withstand the shots he was taking in that fight.

Second, DLH also has a great chin, one of the most underrated chins in the game but he was not getting hit over and over again with the flush shots that Marg was. Those right hands were landing flush and at will.

DLH would never get hit like that because he's 10X the boxer Marg will ever be.

    Bad comparison.

What is really a waste is all the damage that He has done with his paris plasters. Once you cross that integrity line, you are NO warrior because warriors fight fair and square and will not lower themselves to cheat to win. IMO, Margarito is NO warrior or at least not anymore.

I agree his integrity has taken a huge hit but you can't deny the man's toughness. I understand some people let emotion get in the way of clear judgement and that's fine but his heart and chin cannot be questioned IMO.

Good article. But I disagree with this post. The way he looked against Shane and the plaster makes me question any success he had prior to that fight. I think it is completely fair to question his wins vs Cintron and his win over Cotto.

Your arguing two different points here though. Nobody is saying not to question his wins prior to the Mosley fight, that's a natural progression of guilt and the consequences of it.

I'm just saying there is no amount of plaster that can make a man withstand the shots he has taken, not only in the Cotto fight, but the Williams, Cintron, Clottey and Mosley fights.

People need to understand those are two very different things.

true. But because his shots were harder the opponenst shots may have been diminished such that Marg could take them better.

Come on man..............did you see the fights?

The bombs that Mosley was landing were amazing. I mean, Mosley wasn't even getting hit by Marg and he was landing at will. The same with Cotto in the first 3 rounds, he was teeing off on Marg's head and he was swallowing those shots like tic tacs.

Look, I'm not defending Marg, I'm just saying he's no punk....

Agreed and I made that clear in the original post.
