Yes floyd is on vacation. I'm sure if manny accepts the 0 day cutoff the fight can be made just like I'm sure if he had accepted 14 days in January and not 7 month later in July after floyd told merchant 0 days and we can fight the fight would've happened already.

That said, the thread is about what Ariza said manny should do if the Marg fight falls through. rather than make a JMM fight, I'm thinking he should say if the Marg fight falls through lets revisit the floyd fight. Get it?

People just need to give up on a third fight between these two being interesting. Even if Pac agreed to do it at 140, Marquez just isn't the same guy that gave Pac hell, Pac isn't the same guy he was in those fights either, and anything above 135 Marquez is going to be too slow, too weak, and have too far diminished reflexes to stand a chance.

The time for that fight has passed. I would criticize Pacquiao just as much for fighting Marquez as I am for fighting Margarito.

If they fight at 140, I think Pacquiao can KO him. I have never heard the sound of such thudding shots coming from an fighter at 140 when he disposed of Hatton. I know it only lasted two rounds, but every time Pac landed a shot it had the sort of sound you'd hear when something small slips into the water at a high speed.

Why try to 'revisit' a fight when Floyd Jr. said he doesn't want to fight right now. It's as simple as that. Floyd Jr. 'pleaded no contest' and 'pleaded the fifth *********' when asked about the fight. He never responded to 'anything' on why he didn't want the fight. For whatever reason, only God and Floyd Jr knows. After that two months of waiting to get nothing, I am tired of that. At least this is something that is happening, regardless of your opinion whether he should fight Marg, Marquez or whomever....

I respect JMM alot...but he can't compete wit Pac @ 147....he'll get murked there....@140 he might make the final bell, but by the skin of his teeth....no need for this unless its @ 135....and Manny aint makin that no more ....JMM is a cool dude and a EXCELLENT fighter but he should just let this go before he gets hurt....no joke!!...Manny would DESTROY him from 140 on up IMO

Why is Roach's fighters going after the same guy who is one and two weight classes below Khan and Pacquiao? What happened to Bradley, Berto, Alexander and Zab? I like Marquez and all, but he will get KTFO if he fights pacquiao again. Pacquiao wont fight him at 135, and thats the only prayer marquez had.
