If Devon Alexander ever wants to be an ATG he should take page from Floyd Mayweather.

I think it would be a good move but Alexander is never gonna lose a close decision in St. Louis...

It would have to be somewhere else...

If the Bradley fight can be made then no way will this happen though...

I don't mind, I am not really a Floyd fan but I am not a Floyd hater. And, Pac is my favorite active fighter. But, I criticize him as well so it is all good.

He dared to be great and gave Castillo an immediate rematch. Again when he really didn't have to.

Alexander should do the same. Instead of worrying about Bradley and making an issue about 50-50 split when there was never an issue. He should be giving Kotelnik an immediate rematch. Why is he not pushing for this? Why are the fans not really pushing for this?

This what separates true greatness from just being good. It separates the boys for the men. This was why Floyd was considered a HOF'er before becoming "money" while Alexander might just end up being a good fighter from his era but falls short of HOF status.
Floyd isn't great in the ring.....come on now big whoop he beat a Mexican. By UD. Pac KO's Mexicans. Pac would've KO'ed Castillo

i don't know if he should give kotelnik a rematch to be honest. after floyd gave castillo a rematch he hasn't taken on the best ever since. i don't want to see alexander fall into that same pattern of "i've already proved i'm the best now i'm in cherry pick mode for the rest of my career"

I honestly think Devon would lose the rematch. He really got exposed in that fight. I would like to see him fight Bradley next and then go for the rematch. But, another lost to either one of these guys will be a huge setback for him. It'll look like he was just all hype and cannot beat the upperclass of his division.

He's probably all hype and he lost the fight to Kotelnik, either he needs more time or he just doesn't have enough skills to compete with the best, he wouldn't be the first to lose only to the top fighters...
