I dont see where there is more honor in beating up on people below your own natural god given skill level than there is in taking performance enhancing drugs to be able to compete with people with more natural skill.
That is the most egregious, grossly permissive statement I have read on this forum to date.
No, I categorically condemn that school of thought.
but do you acknowledge that this egregious and grossly permissive school of though (which I happen to agree with you in ) is prevalent in today's society even more so in sports.....???
No and anyone that supports that theory is just a plain evil person. Even if you felt that it was okay to go about living your life like that, in boxing it is immoral to do. This isn't baseball or some basketball game where we are just trying to one up our opponent and net a few more scores to fatten our contract, this is boxing, a sport that is violent and dangerous. You cheat in boxing, you are not just killing your integrity of a person but you are putting another mans life in extra danger.
if there's no fairplay, there's no real competition.
but if in order to compete you have to play on an even field...and catch up to those who are higher than you by other means and not just natural talent..do you then condone this statement????
