I highly doubt Texas will license him unless Arum has those guys in his pocket because licensing a fighter when California, Nevada, or New York has a ban on the fighter is a major insult to those major athletic commissions...

Marg fought in Mexico after his suspension was over. At that time he was just like you or me, he didnt have a licence in the US.

But yea i think they denied him because he wasn gonna fight there anyway and Texas is willing to give him a licence no matter what the ruling

The commissions need to change the way they handle knucklepads. Trainers should not be allowed to bring in pre-made knucklepads. Knucklepads should be made in the presence of a commission inspector and in the presence of someone from the other camp, the same way that the wraps themselves are applied in the presence of the aforementioned. Why they allow knucklepads to be pre-made, with no oversight from any inspector or someone from the other camp, is beyond me.

Very true. Kind of a primitive example, but like in classes, they don't let us bring in our blue books (a booklet to write our essays) for exams/assignments. the teacher either hands them out or gets them n shuffles them. but it prevents cheating and the SAC should check prepared knuckle pads. what I found interesting (i saw a portion of the vid) is that the inspector Guevara who was there Jan. 30 09, said that Marg's knucklepad was alot bigger than the one that the attorney had as an example to show everybody. also, if garcia or margarito are that embedded in the sport, they shouldve known about what happened in the resto-collins case since the Chappelle gal and one of the commissioners kept asking them if they knew about that incident. Arum is trying to make the fight in Texas or Nevada not in California, The Nevada commission asked for Margarito to go to California and get a decision there first. Now that California has made a decision, Nevada and Texas can make a decision right?

If the nevada commission wanted california to decide first, its probable that nevada would follow california's, which would now mean a NO as well.

What he needs to do is give that girl whatever amount of money he needs to give her so she'll drop those charges on Roger and go away...
