What's everyones beef with Chad Dawson?

You can't argue with his skills, but in the end it's not about what you CAN do, it's about what you actually DO. Chad fought without any passion, without any sense of urgency, didn't let his hands go even when he had Pascal hurt, wasn't smart enough to punch while Pascal was punching instead of covering up, etc, etc. He fought like a man who didn't care whether he won or not. If he doesn't even care about winning, why would I want him to win?

Most people's problem with him is that he can be too dominant so his fights end up boring especially when he appears happy to cruise to a decision. He also appears to lack a killer instinct when the finish is there to take.

Hopefully after his first loss, he puts more effort into getting his opponents out of there.

I'm a fan of his but he could of taken his first loss more professionally and given Pascal more credit for fighting a good fight.

Its because hes another african american fighter who was born with superior skills compared to other people but has the brain of a peanut and has no heart / desire to win and has no respect for the sport.

1) Gave away 60% of himself to some rappers and other scum
2) Throwing his belts away to duck people and fight old men
3) Cant put a sentance together to save his life, should just have 20 more kids and become a rapper y0 bling bling.

What I don't understand is why people seemed legitimately UPSET with Dawson after he lost. From the HBO team, to boxing writers, to people on twitter and boxing forums. Why are you angry at him? He fought. He lost. It happens. I don't see what there is to get upset about.

It's disgusting to watch someone with the natural ability of Chad Dawson, with so much to fight for (ring belt, undefeated record, prestige, legacy), waste everyone's time with a half assed performance. And what made it most offensive was that everyone could SEE he was mailing it in, so it was probably obvious to him too, and he just didn't care enough to do anything about it.

IDK what other ppls problems with him was either, he is fine boxer who I am sure will have a good career and dominate Pascal in a rematch after maybe having an off night or over looking Pascal Saturday.

Almost this entire forum wanted him to lose on last saturday, seemingly not because you were cheering for Pascal but because you seem to have a beef with Chad.

I don't get it. I think he seems like a nice enough guy, he's dedicated, he's got great skill and hi displays it very nicely each time he fights.

Its because he doesn't give a **** about boxing or the belts he just wants to make the $$$ so he can buy some bling bling and feed his 50 illegitimate kids and hang out with some rappers.

African Americans are naturally gifted than other races when it comes to sports but most of them dont know how to use their skills because they lack the balls / heart / respect / brains and only focus on the money aspect of it and dont care if they fight 40 year old men for the rest of their life.

They always look for a reason to hate on a black fighter even if he`s humble.They know he has the potential to be a great fighter and they hate that.they know Pascal aint **** aint never gonna accomplish much.
