What's everyones beef with Chad Dawson?

glenn jonson and tarver are old but they're still in a class of they're own.

He also beat adamek you might remember. Who brutalized Arreola at heavyweight.

You can't deny, after watching him fight, that Chad has some really slick skills and excellent techique.

Mayweather has gotten a little better though and the Mosley fight was watchable and good.

He's not exciting to watch, and it's always good to see the underdog come out on top.

dude is definitely talented, and after one loss, now everyone says, "he was never that good."


he has some issues he needs to take care of, and hopefully he will. he should beat pascal rather easily.

Almost this entire forum wanted him to lose on last saturday, seemingly not because you were cheering for Pascal but because you seem to have a beef with Chad.

So what's the problem? Is it his personality? The fact that he was unbeaten? That he doesn't fight 3 times a year? His boxing style?

I don't get it. I think he seems like a nice enough guy, he's dedicated, he's got great skill and hi displays it very nicely each time he fights.

Seems to me that most folks around here wanted (and expected) Chad to win. The fact that he threw away what should have been a KO by trying to play cutsie frustrated some folks (myself included) and now you're seeing the backlash. He needs to negotiate an immediate rematch to wipe this stain off his record.
