yes...he went on vacation but when Floyd came calling in January, guess what? he listened and negotiations were attempted

and there's a big difference about talking about vacation IMMEDIATELY after a fight than 60 days later

Yeah. can't diagree with you on that one. Same with floyd. Doesn't make sense to fight further if you don't fight manny.

exactly...PAC has one foot in retirement, and Floyd has hinted numerous times of taking a couple of years off...it makes ZERO sense for Arum to wait...besides losing the combatants, he's losing public interest

I see what you are saying, but the difference is Floyd is not fighting anyone else. He is going on vacation.. Team Mayweather is STILL trashing Pacquiaos name and not a word from Floyd. Different circumstances.
Manny has stated numerous times that he wants Floyd Mayweather, but, nothing from Floyd.

Just want Manny to fight (win or lose) Floyd before he retires..

Remember he had Marvin Hagler get all tuxedoed up only to have ray retire. I don't think we can apply conventional logic/wisdom when dealing with Bob Arum given his history.

i think Floyd postured too hard in tryin to get to PAC's head about the testing...Arum REALLY wanted to do a stadium fight and when Floyd said 'no' to fighting outside Vegas, i think that forced Arum to make it an in-house thing so he can get on with his little experiment...

they probably looked at the last position of Floyd when they last negotiated and figured to revisit it after they did the Texas fight...and that they did

only to realize that floyd 'wasnt thinking about boxing anymore'...we dont even know if the deal is still valid because Floyd WONT OPEN HIS MOUTH

how hard is it for him to reiterate his stance about testing when $50mil is on the table? he'd rather ignore it and let the fight die again?
If Pac REALLY wants a certain fight, he has power the force it. It's not like he is powerless with Arum. U can't just blame everything on Arum or it seems, FMJ again, for that matter.

You said "we don't know if the deal is still valid anymore", yet, didn't Floyd say those terms were off the table? If Pac and team accept the very same terms that were on the table b4, after floyd just doubled his last PPV, and almost double Pac's gate, does that seem like they are serious about negotiating? While I do agree, FMJ needs to say something, I don't think its a stretch to question how serious Pac's team was the negotiation.

I do agree though. FMJ is getting annoying with the silence. I think he will ultimately fight and beat Pac, but the games are getting tired. I think he is just taking it for granted that, this fight will be there when HE decides to do it. I just don't like the word coward and duck being thrown around for one side and not the other. Besides, Neither of them could've come this far, being a coward.
