yes...Bob Arum, that 'greedy' promoter would rather pass up a Floyd megafight and do something that will do about half of what PAC-PBF would have...makes total sense

Your point makes sense until you consider Bob made us wait almost 3 yrs for Leonard v Hearns and almost 5 yrs for Hagler v Leonard. he is also making us wait at leats 2 yrs for JuanMa Gamboa. Think waiting 18 mos for floyd v pac is so strange?

Nope it was Floyd. Manny has repeatedly called out Floyd.. Following the Hatton/Cotto/Clottey fights. Manny called him a coward a couple weeks ago and told him to fight.

Don't disagree with you. But no matter what floyd says I think we can agree if you take floyd out of the equation agreeing to contract stips 7 months after the fact would be highly suspect.

Taking it further, there was recently a similar situation, although not identical. Valuev (thru don king) "accepted" terms to fight Vitali. Vitali had taken them off the table and agreed to a deal with Sonoski because Valuev took to long. When King made the annoucment he was ridiculed. respectfully, I don't think there is any difference in what King/valuev did vis vi Viatli and Manny/Bob visa vi Floyd.
