This Roger Mayweather is "romancing". he has his "facts" a little out of place. Mayweather did NOT decide he wanted these random tests "because he was fighting Mosley" etc.etc. He only fought Mosley AFTER the Manny P. fight failed.

Then again, Roger M is complaining "how is it random testing if it's cut off 14 days before the fight", etc. Weeeellll the 14 days was a condition orogonally instituted by his beloved nephew. ALSO, what the hell difference does the word "random" make? If the fighter doesn't know when the test will take place (a la "random") IF AT ALL.... he will avoid taking the forbidden drugs (which he likely is not taking anyway) and if he knows that the testing will end 14 days before the fight, he will ALSO avoid taking the drugs.

To suddenly begin taking drugs 13 days before a fight, cannot be good for the fighter, with also the STRONG chance that it will be revealed by the BLOOD TEST taken IMMEDIATELY after the fight.

This "RANDOM" piece of c****roo is just that, DREK!

Have u ever heard of masking agents? U can use masking agents so that the drugs will not show up in the test. If the drug tests are random, then there is no chance to prepare for them.

I can take testosterone base powder, put it in a transdermal formula(absorbed through the skin), apply it at 4:00am, get the benefits of the increased testosterone during my early workout and if I were tested at 4pm, it wouldn't show up in my system. That is how fast some PED's can be in and out of the system.

I guess its the same as Freddie Roach saying the FMJ was the easiest fight of the 3(Mosley, Cotto, FMJ), yet they aren't willing to abide by what they said and agree to the tests.

Roger & FMJ might believe what they say, but that doesn't change that fact, that once u step in the ring, anything can happen and if any advantage is because of banned PED's, then its not right. Why is this so hard to understand?
