Comments Thread For: After Briggs, Klitschko Wants Nikolai Valuev, David Haye

On October 16, WBC heavyweight champion Vitali Klitschko will make his fifth defense against former WBO titlist Shannon Briggs at the 02 World Arena in Altona, Hamburg, Germany. The 39-year-old Klitschko (40-2, 38 KOs) has not lost since being stopped in the sixth round by Lennox Lewis in June of 2003. The 38-year-old Briggs (51-5-1, 45 KOs) is big puncher, with his last three fights ending by way of knockout in the first round. [Click Here To Read More]

Maybe you should read the title again then.

Misread the title... I thought it said "After Klitschko, Briggs wants Valuev, Haye"

This happens too often with me lately... I should check myself for heat illness and brain tumor...

Man, I am pumped about the Fall, you have two Klitschkos fights in the span of one month.

Both Klitschkos opponents are dangerous and both have a grudge/history type of story.

Can't wait to see Vitaly KO that big mouth Pineapplehead, I wonder what excuse he will afterwards.

Vitali is not going to fight anyone after this one. He has been
a great champion.but i think briggs retires him in 1rd

Haha Briggs retire Vitali in one round? Vitali's never been down and Briggs isnt good. Also if Vitali got hit and went down and KO'ed to Briggs, guaranteed he would take the rematch, that would be huge money and would be on HBO at worst.
