Bute a draw? lol now thats just nuthuggery at it's finest. Bute has absolutely no popularity in the american mainstream, same with Pascal. Maybe in Canada this would be a huge ass fight but on PPV? That's freakin hilarious, that wouldn't even get 100K from American fans. Hardcore fans might buy it but thats it. Hopkins-Pascal shouldn't even be PPV. That would do maybe 150-200K at best.

I hope it's Hopkins vs Pascal. I love B-Hop and think he has a few more good fights left in him. That'd be a decent scrap and maybe after that the Dawson fight gets made with Hopkins.

I would love to see another war between Froch & Pascal once the tournaments done too. Pascal is living pretty large now, I'm happy for him. Hopefully he has some big fights left to come, or maybe Dawson gets his fire back.

as little as I think of Pascal, he would...arg...I dont want to say it....GRR...beat Hopkins. his tactic of running away and then throwing BS combos where only 1/3 of them land would probably work pretty well against this version of Hopkins.

apart from the fact that that is how Jermain Taylor to a degree 'beat' Hopkins, Hopkins has looked awful in his last few outings and rightfully so...the guy is 47 or something.

but yep...Pascal probably wouldnt hit Hopkins clean once, but still end up winning legitimately. sigh.

I knew cherry picking ass Hopkins would wait for Dawson to lose.

Dawson would've been a waste of Hopkins' time just like it would've wasted Calzaghe's time. HBO only offered 2 million for Hopkins and Dawson to split down the middle when the fight was being discussed. Peanuts and when he would've beaten Dawson, people would've discredited the win just like they did with Pavlik. Still disappointed he went after shot ass Roy though.

Hopkins was afraid of Dawson's agility and speed. He saw that Pascal was able to beat Dawson using a pressure style. Hopkins would likely use that against Pascal and beat him like he did Pavlik IMO

pascal is barking up the wrong tree, hopkins has the style to school the kid. I am not sure he has the legs though, but you never hopkins is crazy like fox.
