Happy for the guy and all, but he is already pumping his own tires way too hard. Yeah, beating Dawson was huge but you also lost to Froch. How does a guy that loses a decision to Froch, win a decision against a much better boxer in Dawson. Really mind boggles me, cause I would think Froch gets badly beaten by Dawson, i personally think there are few top fighters in those weights that would lose to Froch by decision.

Its because you are using the triangle theory which almost never works in the sport of boxing.

Pascal has been cummin' all over himself eversince Satyrday nights win over Dawson. It was a good win 4 him but he's going overboard with all this big talk. And how is the new "king" at 175 challenging a 168 pound fighter and a 45yr old??? Give my man Cloud a shot and unify the titles "king".

Bhop is still in everyone's p4p listings and Cloud isnt, who by the way only just beat and old past it Glen Johnson by the skin of his teeth.

Hopkins will take it if it's a good price and he'll beat Pascal.

Yeah. He's doing a Calzaghe or Ottke if you will. Fighting selected fighters in his safehaven. And why not? He makes megabucks that way and the canadiens love him. Only the competitiveness that non-fanboys would like to see is sacrificed.

So he'll likely to play it safe for as long as he can and that's untill the supersix is over.

Untill then I'd be most surprised to see him fight a live opponent TBH.
