Does Dawson deserve an immediate rematch against Pascal? No fight in between!

I thought in the contract it says that Pascal can take a fight against another opponent before fighting Dawson again? If Pascal/Bute happens, you know Dawson will never be able to avenge the robbery that took place in Canada. Sure Pascal was winning most of the rounds, but no one can deny Pascal was serious hurt in the 11th round and was running for dear life against Dawson. Oh, and that cut is bull****. Vasquez fought through much worse cuts then that. And heck even Vitali was able to fight with a worse cut before they stopped the fight against Lennox.

I'd say Dawson still is a top fighter and a rematch is natural considering the rematch clause.

I confess that I do not know the exact specs,but if he doesn't have to do the rematch immediately,then by all means avoid it!!

You are correct.

Pascal can take an interm fight.

And if I'm Dawson I stay busy as well.

It just sucks for Dawson because if Pascal takes another fight and loses to another opponent, then Dawson never gets to avenge his loss/robbery what ever ppl want to consider it. Sure Dawson was losing by points but the fight was changing and they stop it in Canada because of a dinky ass cut when other fighters have fought with worse cuts on their eyes.

I disagree with the stoppage, Dawson wanted to and could have gone on but i was also really disappointed with Dawsons performance in the fight as a whole. He seemed passive and content to let Pascal command the fight most of the time.

Uh so every fighter who had another fighter hurt deserves an immediate rematch? Unless of course Dawson got the decision then Pascal wouldnt deserve a rematch I have a feeling even though he had Dawson on ***** street 4 or 5 times one of those times holding on for dear life almost picking Pascal up

screw Dawson he should face Cloud but he probably wont since he doesnt like to fight to busy pretending hes Floyd Mayweather....he will sit back and wait for Pascal to fight Im sure..maybe next year we will see the rematch.
