A great fight for the sport.

    And HBO wants it.
    Will they take the tests?

Pascal-Bute makes the most sense right now. It is a huge fight in Canada and pretty good fight overall.

I do find it hilarious that Hopkins is looking to fight Pascal but wasn't as eager to fight Dawson.

I watched the fight live, and i've seen the replay already. Both times i watched this, i never felt he was as hurt as everyone thinks he might have been.. YEs he was taking shots, but his knees did not buckle as Lampley was saying.

He took Dawsons flurries, and and looked to be clear headed enough to look over to his corner and wink....That being said, the shot that did hurt him in the 11th, was that uppercut/hook that stood him up and froze him for a spit second. This is where chad lost his opening. Pascal recovered quick from it, and the rest is the rest.

Pascals only downfall here was his gas tank, it was runnin on fumes, but he hung in there and did what he had to do..I give credit where credit is do..

Maybe the fact he said Dawson fights like a chicken, then Pascal basically runs the whole fight. Great game-plan from the ****-talker Pascal but he just proved he was a hypocrite.

Did you see the 10th where Chad was holding on so tight that he actually grabbed Pascal's leg?..Not a big fan of either one of these guys but hate it when people are just full of excuses...

He lost, but he ALMOST knocked him out...Yeah well he didn't..

                  simple right?

truth, he didnt knock pascal down. Dawson put just enough pressure to throw some combos here and there, but he never followed through. Pascal had pretty good defense for most of the fight and his plan of bursting with big shots were the real "close calls" of the fight. Dawson was holding on for dear life at one point until he recovered. Pascal appeared to look like he was going to take a knee at one point, but didnt. i didnt see too many shots from Dawson besides the uppercut that seemed to really rock Pascal. i believe Pascals style made it tough for Chad to get off, and in a rematch it's hard to see how Chad will deal with a fighter who will pick his shots in bursts like that. i have to give Pascal credit. Dawson needs to prove his worth and become the fighter we know he can be.

Dawson was coming on, but perhaps it was too little too late, and the way it ended we'll never know how it would play out. But a win is a win.
