He didn't look slow or awful after the third fight with Izzy when he fought Mendoza at 126 he looked a little rusty but didn't look slow and awful. And, you said is the way he lost. The third fight was a fight that could of gone either way. Each of the first 3 fights with Izzy has been competitive.

If you going by the way you lose then basically Rafa was shot before fighting Tim Austin. Since he was more competitive after the 2nd fight with Izzy then he was with his first 2 losses.

Maybe cuz I have followed Rafa for years now I can tell that he is passed his prime and I can tell that he is at the tail end of his career that I know he is not shot. Or maybe you just saying that in case Juanma wins is a way to not give credit to Juanma in saying Rafa is shot. But, the point is Rafa is not shot.

LOL @ he took a lot of punishment in 2 third round KO victories.
i meant a lot of punishment in his fights with vazquez, even in the one he won,not the last two fights,i don't even count the fourth one with vazquez,as vazquez is also all beat up,and his debut at featherweight,he didn't impress me or a lot of the critics,i guess a lot of juanma fans want to make it like a great victory if juanma wins, when in reality it isn't,even if he isn't shot, let's say he's not,he is not the same fighter he was,and you can't deny that,he's a beat up fighter, really not a featherweight, and a fighter his age having taken beating the way he did with israel nobody will say it doesn't take something out of a fighter...i just think juanma should have fought someone younger and in their prime, but he'll fight this beat up marquez, then go after john who's always hurt, inactive,no power and then run from 126 (to avoid gamboa) and go to 130 to face slow, wide open puncher in solis,,,,remember that

U mean like Orlando Salido? Anyway, I wonder what the odds are. If they are good enough i would bet on Marquez.

[QUOTE=El C@cique@PR;9059758]Juanma aint in his prime. a fighter is in his prime hen he puts it together phisically and mentally and starts displaying it against elite competition.

Juanma have done neither of those things.

If he loses to Marquez is because Marquez is a great fighter, nothing else should be said.

        Great Post.

300K tha Juanma wins, 200K extra if it is via KO and 100K exta iff it is on 5 or less. What you say????[/QUOTEth

I hate hearing a fighter is past it when they are not,how many times was Barrera past it and surprised people, sht he looked great in his last fight,i think he is going to put Juanmas lights out.

If Juanma leaves the ring without taking too much punishment, he will fight John on December 4, that assuming he wins, wich is expected

On point. First thing I thought about when reading the headline was just that... simply building up the fight.

I like Marquez and would like to see him pull it off but I wouldn't bet on it

i agree... juanma is the younger, stronger fighter... rafa might not be in his prime but he's still dangerous...

i actually think john and juanma would go full 12 bro... a fight with john would do juanma a lot of good..
