And Juanma IS in his prime, stop lining up excuses if he loses.
Juanma aint in his prime. a fighter is in his prime hen he puts it together phisically and mentally and starts displaying it against elite competition.

Juanma have done neither of those things.

If he loses to Marquez is because Marquez is a great fighter, nothing else should be said.

Granted Mendoza is not a good fighter. Rafa looked a little rusty in that fight but showed some sharp punching as well. I didn't see any evidence of being shot. And, against Izzy he looked sharp with beautiful technique. I did not see any evidence of being shot. What evidence did you see?

He is not shot, Izzy is shot. That is how a shot fighter looks. Rafa is not shot. Now Rafa is not in his prime either. Rafa is at the tail end of his career but he is not shot.

Again I have never seen Rafa and say wow this guy is absolutely done. NEVER. He has always showed sharpness and good technique. Everybody just assumed he is shot cuz of the wars with Izzy. But, I don't see maybe you can explain it to me. I agree he is not in his prime and at the tail end of his career but that does not equal shot.
    Great Post.

This will be a great fight, we will find out what Juanma is made of. I see him getting the better of Rafael in the first few rounds, but Rafael will time him and knock him out in the middle rounds.

How about just 100k that Marquez goes more than 5 rounds? You seem so sure, put your money where your mouth is.

Which fight is that? He has 2 wins in a row and both wins were third round knockout. He is not shot. Don't confuse between being passed prime or at the tail end of his career as being shot. There is a difference.

He didn't look slow or awful after the third fight with Izzy when he fought Mendoza at 126 he looked a little rusty but didn't look slow and awful. And, you said is the way he lost. The third fight was a fight that could of gone either way. Each of the first 3 fights with Izzy has been competitive.

If you going by the way you lose then basically Rafa was shot before fighting Tim Austin. Since he was more competitive after the 2nd fight with Izzy then he was with his first 2 losses.

Maybe cuz I have followed Rafa for years now I can tell that he is passed his prime and I can tell that he is at the tail end of his career that I know he is not shot. Or maybe you just saying that in case Juanma wins is a way to not give credit to Juanma in saying Rafa is shot. But, the point is Rafa is not shot.

LOL @ he took a lot of punishment in 2 third round KO victories.

I aint counting Rafa out in this fight, but Lopez gets nothing from me until he fights Caballero. He's gonna try to go after John because he's another old, vulnerable fighter. But he'll have to beat Caballero to get him because they got the same manager. Try to explain this to Ch@mp and he'll let it go through one ear and out the other.

Juanma is an overrated clown? Then what does that make Gamboa?

What is Gamboa best win again?
