I don't think he should be called an ass clown for that.

I'm not talkign about him saying that he will correct his mistakes next year. Right after the fight, Taylor was respectful of Hopkins and thanked him for the opportunity and all. He had nothing bad at all to say...

Now suddenly he think Hopkins is a dirty cheat. That's very odd don't you think?

    This is also very funny:

"We're looking for Jermain to return in December." DiBella added it was "an extraordinarily dirty fight" and promised, "we'll beat his booty much worse the second time."

That fight was NOT EVEN CLOSE to being an extraordinarily dirty fight. A really dirty fight would be Hopkins/Echols II, Bowe/Golota or Benn/McClellan...this fight was kids table ****.

And also, the only guy who took any sort of beating in this fight was Taylor. Taylor won the fight because of activity...Hopkins actually put somewhat of a beating of Jermain. DiBella is talking that ying yang again.

Not really...in their post fight interviews, Hopkins didn't say anything very respectful of Taylor. He basically spoke about the fight like it was ridiculous that Taylor won because he didn't land anything worth noting.

Taylors words: "Bernard Hopkins is an excellent champion, I love him, and I just thank him for the opportunity."

Hopkins words: "I seen it was easy to hit him when he comes in like a bull, only thing I didn't do is knock him out, he made a lot of mistakes...stood straight up, he didn't surprise me at all, he was strong but not that strong, Jermain Taylor doesn't show emotions that he won the fight, etc"

I meant immdediately after the fight...not at the post fight interviews. I just think he got tired of being humble and getting no respect from B-Hop. B-Hop has been making this whole decision an issue, appeals etc...

Yeah, if Hopkins is going to show little respect for Taylor, then him and his fans better be prepared for Taylor to return the favor. Besides, Taylor is the fighter that won the fight, and now Hopkins is appealing the decision, making himself look like a damn crybaby to top it off.

It's no wonder he claimed hopkins was dirty cause he was! He has every right to speak his mind on the matter cause he's the one that fought him and will likely rematch him. It's not like nard EVER kept his mouth shut anyway

Judging by Taylor's performance against a supposedely "overrated" Hopkins, it doesnt seem that he is the The Chosen One that everyone has made him out to be. I'll still be cheering for my man The Executioner come rematch time. Either Taylor hasnt perfected his craft yet, or he just isnt as good as many think he is.

I agree that Hopkins is a rough housing fighter, but if I'm not mistaken, Taylor threw the first rabbit punch and clocked Hopkins in the back of the head.

Hopkins is a dirty fighter and now it appears he is a crybaby as well.

I have to say I respect the fact that Taylor almost always speaks positive in regards to his opponents and is always critiqing his own performance and looking for ways to improve.

It's so rare in a sport better known for trash talking and self-promotion.

Taylor is a class act all the way and has a long and illustrious career ahead of him.

Hopkins is and will always be prison number Y4145 to me. lol

Well, I didn't think the fight was very dirty at all. Taylor turned his back on Hopkins several times because he was gettin' hurt and he knew the ref would jump in and protect him. If you don't want to get hit in the back of your head, don't turn your back on your opponent. Honestly, I just don't think he knew what to do when he was getting hurt, because he'd never been in that situation before. He was also silly for holding Hopkins so much. The ref even said, "If you hold him, he can hit, you can't." Yet, he kept on doing it. Taylor won, technically. He won on paper. He won on the scorecards. But Hopkins was the better fighter. He just had a bad plan. I think Taylor will do better in the rematch, but I think Hopkins will have a better plan and will win. All this talk of dirty fighter is just a cheap attempt to trash-talk Hopkins, and try to elevate Taylor's status, since his performance was nowhere near brilliant, or deserving of the undisputed middle-weight.
