    Question of the Thread

So the question now is, do you guys think Manny is justifed in his request of a guarantee of $22,500,001 million dollars against Margarito considering his past Fight Revenue income generated?

    • "Guaranteed" doesn't mean that's all he got, you moron. It means it's the MINIMUM he'll get. Obviously the fights were successes, so he got a lot more than those "guarantees." And you didn't include the money generated from seats.

Gate from that stadium in Texas? Well if 50k seats are sold and the average is just 30 dollars. Then thats 15mil

          So 15 + 38.5 is 53Mil.

I think Pac can make 700k with Marg IMO.

I will assume Marg will take anything since he aint gonna get any other pay days and been out for 1 year.

Even 500k PPV will make them 27.5 Mil on PPV

This is not any money from around the world either.

Ofcourse Pac acn make 22.5 Mil easily.
This math is all messed up.

Second, I can not wait to see how Arum handle's this too...

Because if Arum denies Pacquiao's request he is basically telling Pacquiao he is not a big of draw as Mayweather, and therefore undercutting his argument that Pacquiao deserves 50% against Mayweather.
                what up Horus...
I just dont see Arum giving Pac this guarantee..
and Arum knows Pac doesnt deserve 50/50 against May..
but Im sure he'll spin this the best way he knows how...

                • It's late, I'm tired, gotta wake up in 6 hours and I'm only on pg.16... I hate long hours, I miss all the good stuff and starting of the conversations on here.

Dunno if anyone posted this, but isn't one of the major reasons Floyd makes so much in all his fights due to the fact that he is/owns his own "Promotion Company?". I know GBP negotiates stuff for him, but he basically cuts the middle man out on pretty much everything he does and I'm sure he just gives GBP a standard negotiation fee + something small to shut them up.

Manny has to pay all those middle men, plus Arum probably jack moves him for a few more millions. For him to make what Floyd is making, wouldn't that warrant a little more than he's asking because of all those extra "fees?" Or maybe if this is true, he just wants the bigger sticker price.

Or am I just tired and think I make a good point or any sense at all... LOL.
