Comments Thread For: Carl Froch: I'll Fight Pascal Anywhere, Except Germany

Carl Froch has spoken out about a possible rematch with Jean Pascal, the WBC/IBO light heavyweight champion. Froch won a twelve round decision over Pascal in 2008 to capture the WBC title at super middleweight. He is open to a rematch once his contractual duties are complete with the Super Six tournament. Froch will fight Pascal anywhere, including the United States, but not in the country of Germany. [Click Here To Read More]

        Looks like Froch has Alemanophobia.

so Froch will get a hometown decision anywhere outside of Germany? please.

It's cool Pascal is interested in a rematch actually, because if (when?) Froch loses to Abraham he may have a chance to become champion again immediately.

Props to Froch if he rematches Pascal, but I don't believe for a second he would fight him in Canada. Especially if he comes out on a good note in the Super 6. He'll probably sign the contract for the fight and then during training he'll say "I'll quit if the fights in Canada." I've heard him say "I'll quit" atleast twice during the whole Super 6 process so far. No way in hell Froch fights Pascal in his backyard.

If it's a choice between fighting Pascal in Canada and retiring, Froch will fight in Canada.

Why would he have to retire if he didn't fight in Canada? Or are you just saying that in jest?

Froch said he'd retire if he loses to Abraham but if Pascal throws a lifeline for his career he'd probably take it no matter where the fight is held.
