Cong**** to Wlad. He earned it the hard way: in the ring. Competition has been laughable but it's the best the division has and he just keeps winning. And making it look easy. If he keeps this up for another few years it'll be very hard to deny his legacy.

I think the best fighter was Chagaev.

Anyway p4p rankings is difficult to make, highly subjective by definition and is always debateable.

ABsolutely subjective. remeber the p4p thing is designed to favor smaller fighters because for years in the US the HWT champ was the man even though there were much better fighters at smaller weights.

You sort of made my point when saying his best win was Chagaev. Honestly, Ruslan Chagaev is nowhere near a Razor Ruddock or a Oliver Mccall, who were not excatly great fighters.

Were glen johnson and tarver old, yup. were they more respected then anyone wlad has ever beaten? Yes. BTW, i'm sure you saw glenn cloud fight. AT worse, glenn is one of the top 5 or 6 lthwt''s in the world right now.
But the part you don't get is, WHY they were more respected.

Why do you say if Wlad KOs Rahman (who KOed Lewis) it's no good because Rahman was old at the time (age 35), but if Dawson decisions a 40 year old Tarver it's good and makes him p4p worthy?

Please think and understand your own biases.

Chagaev at age 17 defeated the man who KOed Tua in the amateurs, Felix Savon. He had never been down as an amateur or a pro before he fought Wlad.

Sultan Ibragimov schooled Shannon Briggs and is a very underrated win by Wlad.

              You are very prejudiced.

Chagaev had never been down and was undefeated. He was a world amateur champion and defeated the great Felix Savon at age 17. He defeated a two-year-younger Valuev by a wider margin than Haye did.

You are missreading my point. Rahman was in his prime in the 90's. He is not now. Can we agree? Yet he still occupies about the same level as he did then only he is 10 -12years older and hi skilss and credibility have significantly diminshed. Same with Tua and Grant. They are still there becasue of the lack of good young fighters to take there place at HWT.

Tarver and Johnson, like Mosley, are 40 yrs old but they were highly regarded when Dawson beat them the 1st time. Johnson, Bhop, and Tarver even though they were old agewise had kept themselves in great shape and retained their skills and credibility.

I never said anything racist. YOU are racist against East European boxers.

                  "Recently"??

There hasn't been a European fighter there for a couple of years, since Calzaghe retired and Hatton was defeated.

Compare the Ring top ten to BoxRec's unbiased top 10 p4p.

I've actually always thought he should have been on there for a awhile now.

How am I prejudiced because I don't think Ruslan Chagaev is a decent hwt contender?

When you can't refute my post with facts don't do like these childish pac fans and start labelling me like that. Deal with the messae don't attack the messenger.

Frankly, I don't care what he did as an amatuer. Beating Valuev (a BUM) by a wider margin than a blown up crusierweight doesn't mean anything either.
