THANK YOU! bute got saved in the first andrade fight. and he beat an over the hill one trick pony in miranda. why is everyone anointing him the best in the supermiddleweight division? i hate how hbo is claiming he's the best in the division cuz he's their only smw guy right now. people are saying pascal is getting ahead of himself, i think everyone is getting ahead of themselves by proclaiming a bute victory. is he skilled? yes he absolutely is. but looked what happened to dawson, i dont think bute has faced anyone with the athleticism of pascal. i can see both fighters winning. it certainly won't be a walk in the park for bute. and i agree with pascal, if bute wants to challenge him, bute needs to challenge him outright and move up. pascal is the champ now. he's not going to go calling out guys in lower divisions, he's not amir khan!

Pascal is a classic, one of those guys who beats a great fighter having an off night and suddenly thinks he is the bees knees. Well Mr Pascal, you are not even a bees scrotum.
Bute will not fight Pascal unless there is no one else, he'll fight Pavlik before he fights Pascal.Comment

Pascal will kick Dawson's ass again in the rematch, maybe it's the magic green bottle !Pascal is a classic, one of those guys who beats a great fighter having an off night and suddenly thinks he is the bees knees. Well Mr Pascal, you are not even a bees scrotum.

Bute and Pascal won't fight each other soon, Bute will fight the winner of the Super 6 and clean that division. Pascal is the # 1 LHW WC, there is a rematch with Bad Chad Dawson, he can also fight all the grandpa's that Dawson and Cloud are fighting...

Bute won't fight the winner of the Super 6 because he is a punk and won't leave Montreal.
After winning the Super 6 neither Ward nor Dirrell have any reason to travel to Montreal to fight a guy who has never beaten a world class opponent.
Bute wants everyone else to clean out the division for him, and then he wants to stack the deck with Marlon Wright and Jack Woodburn in his hometown.
No fighter, promoter or manager are gonna fall for that bull**** after working so hard and winning 5 fights over guys who are all better than anyone Bute has ever beaten.
Another 2 years of fighting nobodies and boxing fans will give up on Bute. His career so far, and in the future, is and will continue to be an exact replica of Zsolt Erdei's.Comment

They didn't invite Bute in the Super 6, it was a mistake... Bute will fight the winner of the Super 6 and win, time will tell...Bute won't fight the winner of the Super 6 because he is a punk and won't leave Montreal.

No he won't.
Bute won't fight the winner because he won't leave Montreal, just like Zsolt Erdei wouldn't leave Germany.
The Super 6 winner isn't gonna go to Montreal and get screwed over after busting their ass against the 5 best 168 lb'ers in the world for nearly 3 years while Bute fights Miranda, Brinkley, Mendy... and whatever bum comes after that.
Bute's career is so much like Zsolt Erdei's that it's funny, and his excuses are just like Zsolt Erdei's as well.
One thing you can say about Erdei though is he had the balls to step up in weight and fight a bigger opponent when there were no attractive fights for him at 175, Bute clearly is too scared to jump 7 measly pounds to fight a guy 3 inches shorter.
Erdei fought for the Cruiserweight Title and weighed in at 178. Gave up nearly 20 lbs and didn't make any excuses. Went to war with the bigger man, and came out victorious.
Bute on the other hand.... Terrified of taking a risk.
Until Bute takes on a real opponent, or leaves Montreal, he isn't even fit to carry Erdei's jockstrap.Comment

That's ******, he should just say he has no desire to take on a tough opponent for the next 2 years.
There is no reason Bute cannot fight Pascal and return to 168. He has plenty of time and there are no appealing fights for him at 168 anyhow.
I don't see how beating Miranda, Andrade, Brinkley... plus 4 more guys who aren't even in the top 10 at 168 constitutes "cleaning out a division".
talking out of yo ass, as usual
going up in weight, as stated in the article, is always a gamble : you might never be the same when you go down (struggle to make weight particularly)
Bute fights the best available in his own weight class, end of storyComment
