if Floyd fights SRL he will find a way to duck him as much as possible like accusing him on PEDs or something...Heck! he already ducked a Filipino midget what more SRL

If that had been Mosley, himself from 2000,he would have finished Floyd!!But yes,SRL would have stopped Floyd if he hurt him like Mosley did in the 2nd!!For the guy that said he didn't stop Hearns in the 4th,well Floyd ain't no Hearns, nuff said!!

I dont know if he would have got him out in the second round, but I believe SRL would eventually stop him. I think Floyd would have stayed at 135 to avoid the possibility of having to fight either SRL or Hearns at WW. They're just more suited to fight at WW than Floyd is.

People don't understand that conditioning plays a big part in a fighter's toughness/chin whatever you want to call it.

All great fighters who had great chins were also supremely conditioned. Hagler, Chavez, Marciano, Pac, Floyd, etc etc.....
Floyd has a great chin now? Just no, no way.

I was a huge fan of SRL but i think sometimes ppl over favor older eras because they grew up in that era. Floyd vs SRL is a tossup. I think if Ray hurt Floyd like that Floyd would find a way to survive the round.

Ray got hit a lot by Ayub Kalule in there 1981 fight and Benitez was able to make him miss a lot with his defense. Only problem was Benitez didn't have enough offense. Floyd is a better defensive fighter than Benitez and much better offensively. Its not even close when it comes to offense. When Ray drops that left hand like he did a lot in that fight, Floyd's unleashing the quick straight right hand which is a unorthodox punch Ray has never seen before. SRL wasn't used to fighting someone who started with a upercut from nowhere so he would have to adjust. Hearns was tall, long but traditional. Jab, follow by the right hand. SRL also didn't fight many fighters with speed back then. The only quick fighter he ever fought really was Terry Norris but Ray was past his peak.

Larry Bonds, Floyd Mayweather sr, Ayub Kalule, Randy Price, Davey Boy Green, Roberto Duran, Wilfred Benitez. None of these guys were exactly fighters who's speed worried you.
