A prime Mayweather does not get knocked out in the 2nd round, even in the same situation against pretty much any great from 147. Just my opinion.

Mayweather doesn't have a fight scheduled and is probably in the gym right now.

You can't knockout a supremely conditioned fighter that's why it took Mosley 8 rounds of pounding on a slow zombie like non-great Margarito until he could drop him. It 's not just chin. It's the reason why JMM could get dropped 3 times and still be able to come back and win more rounds than another great fighter and why he could get dropped hard in the rematch and still come back strong and slug it out and have his knees buckled in the 9th and stay up.

could Leonard finish that fight in the 2nd? maybe...on his absolute best day, yes. but probably not.

could he have put relentless but controlled pressure on Floyd the entire round after that punch....**** yeah.

Could he have scored a knockdown....maybe. But Floyd has great recuperative skills. the shot buzzed him, but there was nothing after that....so he recovered pretty quickly.

Fighters back in the day left that **** in the ring. Any elite or ATG welterweight finishes that round strong and at least with a knockdown (not necessarily a bad one...just a knee or a glove to the canvas...like with Judah).

        Thank you.

People don't understand that conditioning plays a big part in a fighter's toughness/chin whatever you want to call it.

All great fighters who had great chins were also supremely conditioned. Hagler, Chavez, Marciano, Pac, Floyd, etc etc.....

Cool. Just opinions. But i dont believe its impossible for a hurt fighter to get stopped by a bigger, stronger, very fast combination punching fighter going for the KO like Leonard.

Leonard is a cut above the rest and too big for Floyd at 147. IMO.

Few others could, but i believe Leonard could.

leonard certainly has the arsenal & the firepower to put PBF away but not enuf of that to do it in the 2nd round!

but if it was ray robinson in there, tommy hearns or even julian jackson, then its possible... PBF's conditioning be damned...

Ray Leonard isn't stopping Mayweather in 2 rounds, I doubt he'd stop him at all considering it took him 10 rounds to put a stop to Mayweather sr ( Who is similar but inferior to Floyd).

Leonard wouldn't rock Mayweather like that in the opening rounds anyway.

A prime Ray Leonard would, he was only 22 when he fought a 26 year old Floyd Sr, and Floyd Sr. got dropped twice in round 8
