there was a lack of quality and intensity on the bulk of those punches, and hw dont' have a high output in general, so it is impressive to see one throw a lot, but it was nothing like tua-ibeabuchi, which holds the record if i'm not mistaken.

and yes arreola was out of shape or he was overtrained and that is why his punches were stiff looking and forced, not free flowing and in a groove.

both happens when you're either out of shape or overtrained......

bottom line is, arreola needs to get in better shape, and a new game plan, because he will not be able to do anything against anyone who can handle his punch with some boxing skill.

he looked better physically in his last fight, but his conditioning was subpar, maybe he should focus on quality instead of quantity in his punches.

Atlas said that they are both there in front each other to be hit and that he has never seen more stationary fighters (paraphrasing, but he said something to this extent). It's like you hitting a heavybag at the gym, it doesn't mean much. It's like when they had the 24/7 episode where Floyd was doing these little-pitty pat punches on the heavy bag and they were claiming he has the fastest hands alive.

Arreola couldn't finish a stationary journeyman who was kind of fat himself after he knocked him down 3 times, he is out of shape, if he was in shape, he would have KOd him.
I can see you now keeed............

You can't weigh aorund 260 when your natural weight is 230 and say you're in shape.

no man, he was definitely gassed out after trying to finish Quezada when he knocked him down twice...consequently, I had Quezada beating him in every other round I think until that 12th, where he dug down deep and really did try to finish it.

His heart is huge, and most fighters wouldnt bother to throw that many punches when theyre that exhausted. thats the big difference here.

I will agree with you that hes in much better shape than his physique suggests, but lets face it: He could definitely do much better. A lot of his punches had little power behind them for most the fight.

I could go the rout of asking you if you can throw that many punches in that amount of time and not ***en die.....but since everyone o the internet is such an expert and such a superb athlete....it would be a practice in futility to ask....so we will leave it at that......
