Chris Arreola did not fool us

Watching FNF, he said that he was dedicated and worked out like he never has blah, blah, blah.

Teddy Atlas hit it right on the head when he said the lie detector was in the later rounds when he stopped throwing punches.

Arreola has no excuse coming in a 256lbs, that's embarrassing. He should never come in anywhere near that weight and IMO should come in at least at 230lbs.

He will never have the chiseled body like Kiltichko but he can come in shape and ready to go a hard 12 rounds.

While I don't know his trainer and don't want to say he doesn't know his boxing but I think it's fair to say he can't motivate Arreola anymore. Arreola needs a change of trainer and scenery. He needs someone who is going to take him away from where he is, his comfort zone and whip his ass into shape so he can see what Arreola at 100% is all about.

The dude has talent, he just needs dedication to the sport, ala Chavez Jr and how he's found it with Roach.

Yep, every post-fight inteview since the Vitaly loss has been the same:

"I am not a quitter. I give myself a C- today, I am sorry to dissapoint the fans. I am going to come back, watch me. I am going to get back into the gym and work my @ss off. I hurt my hand. He was running, running, I just couldn't catch up to him, I know I hurt him." It's almost the same **** for the Vitaly, Adamek, and now Quezada post-fight interview, if you subsituted one for the other, you wouldn't know which fight was which.

Dude was always a bum, and he's not even the same fighter that came back and KOd Walker. He's not taking his **** seriously, but at least after that performance we can be pretty sure he won't be back on HBO any time soon.

not a good sign of fortitude for someone who's lost 2 out of their last 3 fights

Apparently he feels that if he trains his hardest and still loses then he's a failure and he doesn't know if he could live with that. Therefore it could be assumed that not training his hardest is a way he can have an excuse if he get beat.

That's the thing though, I don't think it's an excuse, the proof is in the weight. I mean he says it's not about how much he weighs, but that's BS.

He should never come in at 256...never. When have we ever seen him at 235 or under? I guarantee you if he was in shape, throwing a lot of punches, that fight on Friday doesn't go past the 4th round.

Yeah. The dudes just got a self destructive personality, on a radio show last week one of the hosts that knows him said that he doesn't feel like he deserves success etc. I feel kinda sorry for him tbh

He's just in a comfort zone, I have seen it a million times with my fighters. Kids that move through the ranks and make it look easy. Then start talking about how they can fight pro's and how they will never lose and then I put them in sparing with some really good natl champs and they get their ass beat and reality hits them in the face.

I think Arreola for too long got by with just his power and natural skill. Now that he's fighting elite fighters in his big fights, he needs to realize that he needs to give 100% of himself to the sport but his trainer has to be the one to bring that out, he doesn't have the will power to do it himself.

Like I said, I would love to see him leave Cali, change trainers and reall dedicate himself 100% to the sport just to see what Arreola at 100% is all about.

I even see some very basic technical flaws in his game that needs to be addressed.

i think he injures his hands because of his punching technique, it's very sloppy

he looks like he's just pushing his hands out

Arreola never register to me as a good boxer but as a BOOB.
I've seen him fight once and never did feel he's going very far.
