You said it right my friend. DAWSON is the much better fighter and will stretch PASCAL in the rematch. I GUARANTEE IT!!! Most of what happened was ring rust on the part of DAWSON. Fighters like him and WILLIAMS have a hard time securing opponents because everyone is afraid to fight'em. Hopefully this will be a lesson to DAWSON. He was arrogant and nonchelant until round 11 where he would have stopped PASCAL.

Dawson can't slip punches well enough to counter and hasn't got the foot work to chase opponents down.
If a fighter is quick enough to close distance, land a combination and get out again, there isn't anything in Chad's repertoire that can stop them.

It wasn't a lack of heart on his part either. Chad had to wait until Pascal tired before he could finally catch up to him and the few times he tried to exchange in the early rounds, he came off worse.

On top of that, Pascal isn't even that fast, he didn't have the handspeed to intimidate Carl Froch like Taylor and Dirrel did.

Hey man. GOD-FR33 here. PASCAL is a C-LEVEL fighter at best. He fought a decent fight but there isn't anything special about him. This fight was a combination of DAWSON being inactive since last JUNE and him being arrogant and nonchelant throughout. PASCAL was ready to be K.O.ed on several occassions. His defense sucks to. He is hittable with almost every punch imaginable. ESPECIALLY THE JAB! DAWSON can only blame himself for not being busier to start. He didn't show real urgency until rounds 10-11. In the rematch, I believe DAWSON will start the way he finished and the fight won't last very long man. DAWSON is a much better fighter than PASCAL. PASCAL was supposed to be the puncher and told DAWSON not to run. Look who started to run once they felt the power. It was PASCAL DAWSON is stronger than he thinks he is. He needs to fight more aggressively from now on and mabe we won't be talking like this about him anymore.

In the tenth I think. It was the flushest shot Dawson landed and Pascal took it very well. I don't see how people think Dawson will stop hiim in the rematch, he only had him in trouble once and that was due to fatigue more than anything else man.

in my notes in the 7th pascal had dawson hurt. but he didnt go in for the kill. pascal stepped back and admired his work. dawson knees buckled but he recouped quik.

Dawson can claim all he wants, but it's his fault he didn't throw enough punches. He was in range alot of the time to land his jab and straight right but instead just stood there and looked at him. And every time he did throw or flurry, then he would step back and admire his work and then continue to just stand there. Dawson is the more gifted fighter but he lost fair and square. No matter how tired Pascal was, in the 11th round he hit him with everything but the kitchen sink and Pascal was still there. Even if he lost the 11th and 12th round, he still would have won the fight on my card which would have read 115-113 (which was in accordance with the announcers and Lederman). Sorry, Dawson, you lost fair and square, just accept it. If you want to be Great, you gotta take chances and become a better offensive fighter...

Man Eddie Mustafa Mohamed is one of the best trainers in the sport, and he gave Dawson great advice. He told him to catch him while he was coming in, he told him to take a step to the right when he lunges in and catch him with a check right hook. He also told him to cut off the ring and use combinations from the 8th round on. It was Dawson who chose to fight scared and lost for it.

"He also told him to cut off the ring and use combinations from the 8th round on" way too late at that point. rewatch the fight again. all eddie was telling dawson was to "stay calm, he's fighting like a dead man. he's done" and thats what dawson did most of the fight. stayed calm and fought timid. dawson needed to assert himself from the 1st round on. he needed to counter him with quick combinations. he needed to pump that jab in pascals face. telling someone to fight calm (in canada of all places) when u see it's not working, is a idiot move.

Yeah but Taylor used his tools to try to keep Froch at bay on the outside. He was successful at it too. Pascal and Froch would both just walk towards each other and throw!hehe
