He ducked Pryor, although I think he'd beat Pryor. But as far as retiring instead of fighting someone, I'd say that was Marvin Hagler. Even though he did fight Hagler, so u can't really call that ducking.

didn't he retire because of detached retina? People acting like he retired to take a long vacation

This Pryor getting ducked thing is getting old.

He turned down a offer from Leonard.

Funny how people associate slapping someone as kicking their ass. You think Leonard won, fine but admit HOW he won. Taunting, pitty pat punches, and having the crowd on his side. Hagler indisputably did more damage to Leonard, far more damage.

It's funny how people associate clean hooks and lead rights with "slaps",too. You'd have to be a complete idiot to claim those punches were "pitty pat".Had they been so,Hagler would have walked right through them rather than standing there, like and idiot, having his head been bounced about like a speedball.

He said no such thing, liar. If you're going to qoute someone, make sure such a qoute was made.

Mugabi never came close to outboxing Hagler, either. He was competitive for five rounds and then was dominated throughout in a fight in which he won three rounds at best.

            Mugabi outbox Hagler? WTF

Only criticism I have of Leonard was waiting forever to give Hearns a rematch...for good reason lol, Hearns whooped his ass in the rematch...

              Go to 6:50.
Leonard says that Hagler was telling him that he didn't want to fight anymore, he's not what he used to be, he cuts too easy etc, and Leonard says this is the perfect time to fight him where as he wouldn't fight him earlier.

Exactly. And its not like Hagler was the only one who wasn't in his prime.

Don't call me a liar ******. Just because you haven't seen the clip don't call me a liar. He said it in a vid that I SAW. And as far as Mugabi outboxing Hagler he didn't say he outboxed him but that he gave him trouble with something that Ray could use against him.

He wouldn't fight him earlier because he was retired. That is unless you believe Leonard jabbed himself in the left eye just so he could undergo hours of surgery to save vision in that eye, just to avoid fighting a man two weight classes above his own, whom he had absolutely no obligation to fight.

Leonard will say anything to make himself looked like a shrewd tactician.Truth is,he knew his time was running out and that he'd miss an opportunity to add a highly regarded fighter to his resume. It would have eaten him and his ego alive to see some other fighter catch Hagler at the right time.

for all we know,Hagler may very well have baited him in this apparent discussion that took place between the two.

I'll call you a liar because you are one.I could care less what video you saw,you still have no clue on the subject of which you speak.Primary example being your claim that Mugabi "outboxed Hagler".....which leads me to believe that you've not even seen this fight.

I don't have time or energy to make conversation with worthless newbs,so make this your last comment in this thread.
