i read in another sight this fight as a possibility...hes done exactly what briggs has done.fight 3 tomato cans & hope for the phone call.its likely briggs is vitalis next opponent & rahman has more name value then any of the up & comers...he also knocked out the last great english heavyweight...id watch it but rahman has seen better days.if he gets a full camp in it could be interesting...if he lands the big right on hayes chin....

As far as I know, Briggs hasn't signed a contract yet to fight Vitali. I think Vitali is waiting until after the Grant-Adamek fight next week to determine his next opponent. Adamek is a top ranked contender and more credible an opponent and probably more $$$ in Europe as Tomez has a big following...
I seriously hope Adamek gets the nod, he's more deserving and he'll be more competitive with Vitali than Briggs will be....Comment

i agree but i keep reading its briggs...vitali is holding out for valuev but hes scheduled to fight in november & that would leave adamek 3 months to recover & train..it could be done but i think adamek needs an early stoppage & has to come out unscathed.holyfield got the thumbs up by the wbc that they would sanction a fight vs vitali in early 2011.hes a possible next opponent pending on vitalis outcome of his next fight.there is no mandatory yet so vitali can make 2 straight voluntaries...it could be briggs & holyfield...lol! id still rather see these 2 then kingpin or sosnowski...the seniors circuit...lol!Comment
