Is it me because I did not see PAscal dominate Dawson...

True! Like people sayhe didn't dominate dawson it was a close fight.
dawson fought ****** though he could/should have won.
it's funny how many people act like dawson is garbage all of a sudden or something when just a few days ago so many people were talking about how awesome he is and he's a future all time great etc  This site cracks me up
He didn't win the fight I lost it
And that's what Dawson did he lost the fight he had his moments he just needed to follow it up
But again who knows what could of happen in the 11th and 12th roundComment

Pascal did BEAT Dawson, but I'd hardly call it dominating. When 'dominating' comes to mind, I think of mayweather-gatti or klitchko-arreolaComment

leading up to the fight, all i read and heard about was how dawson was going to win, how dawson was the favorite going into the fight. i picked pascal for two reason, one he wasn't getting the proper respect i thought he deserved going into the fight and second, pascal has always given me my monies worth, pascal has always been an exciting fighter, that is what influenced me to root for pascal in this fight.I didn't see all of the above lol... True fight fans did not see an underdog in this fight as PAscal was more than capable of beating Dawson imo. Dawson had a game plan, but so did Pascal. Pascal moved, and made Dawson pick his feet up and he attacked. Dawson was Dawson. Pascal was Pascal. Dawson had his chances. Very close fight.
and i think it was rather clear that dawson had no plan, he had no consistency, no set plan of attack and sad to say, i didn't see him in there thinking all that much, he was letting stuff happen to him without taking it back or doing something himself.
right when it looked like he was en route to winning a round, pascal would come up with big punches and combos and dawson just let it happen without trying to get anything back....
dawson was totally out hustled in the fight and i think that is what lead to his desperate moves in the 11th which led to the headbutt, because he had abandon some defense and go for the kill. i'm not saying that is the soul reason for the headbutt, i mean, it was a southpaw vs orthodox and an unorthordox style at that.
when dawson had opportunities he let them go by, when pascal had opportunities he took as many as he could, that to me is being out hustled...... being out smarted.Last edited by deuce_drop; 08-15-2010, 04:32 PM.Comment

It takes more than one fight for me to say Dawson, Kotelnik, Alexander, Maidana, Khan, and many others to call a fighter garbage. In this fight game, it is rare to see a Marciano, Calzaghe or Floyd go through the ranks undefeated. Today losing one fight means doom to some fans lol... Hell...Calzaghe, Floyd and Rocky all take/took **** for going undefeated...Comment

Like I said, I did not see all of what you saw. Didn't you just post the same thing, and didn't I respond to this already? Two fighters in their prime duked it out for 11 rounds. Nobody cares about the pre-fight talk about respect and all that...I for sure don't. You should not even care about that after seeing Buster-Tyson lol... The last thing I care about is my money's worth when it comes to a fighter. I'm going to buy fights, go to fights and continue to pay to watch fights even if they are snoozers, or the fighter is considered a snoozer.leading up to the fight, all i read and heard about was how dawson was going to win, how dawson was the favorite going into the fight. i picked pascal for two reason, one he wasn't getting the proper respect i thought he deserved going into the fight and second, pascal has always given me my monies worth, pascal has always been an exciting fighter, that is what influenced me to root for pascal in this fight.
